Thursday, October 23rd
Drexel and Towson State traded identical 6-5 victories with each other, as both visiting teams spoiled home ice advantage.  On Thursday, 10/23, Towson scored four unanswered goals in the first period after Tom Buklarewicz gave Drexel a 1-0 lead. Drexel cut the lead to 4-2 with a goal from Zak Blazic at the end of period two.  In the third period, Alex Cohen added a goal to make it 4-3.  Towson responded with a quick goal off a turnover and an energy sapping shorthanded goal.  Kyle Zoldy made it closer and Cohen scored again with 7 seconds left as Drexel lost 6-5.

Saturday, October 25th
On Saturday night Drexel returned the favor defeating Towson 6-5 on their home ice.  Bruno Petrillo opened the scoring slamming home the rebound of PJ Armstrong’s blast from the left circle. Towson tied the game with a late first period goal.  Drexel and Towson traded goals with Tom Buklarewicz and Petrillo scoring for Drexel leaving the game tied at 3 after period two. In the third period Bularewicz’s second power play goal and Alex Cohen’s goal put Drexel ahead to stay.  Zak Blazic finished the scoring and Drexel shut down Towson with the goalie pulled to register the victory.  Freshman Dan Pyne had another strong game in net for the Dragons.
